A sweet, tangy sauce that you can use as a base for any kind of chicken dish.
This sweet, mild sauce is so good that it’s been used for everything from grilled chicken to stir-fry.
It’s one of those things you will just love to make and eat and have a million uses for it.
The honey mustard sauce is not just a chicken substitute, but one of the best sauces in the world, too.
Honey mustard sauce Ingredients 1 tablespoon honey (or honey mustard) 3 tablespoons butter 1/4 cup white vinegar 1 teaspoon salt 2 teaspoons garlic powder 1 teaspoon dried thyme 1 teaspoon bay leaf 1 tablespoon water 1 tablespoon vinegar 1 tablespoon milk 1 tablespoon white vinegar (optional) Directions Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Grease a 10×12-inch baking dish.
Heat butter and add 1/2 cup honey in a small bowl.
Add 2 tablespoons of the vinegar and stir to combine.
In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, combine 3 tablespoons of butter with 1 tablespoon of honey.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer until butter is melted, about 5 minutes.
Stir in remaining honey and 2 tablespoons water.
Pour mixture over chicken, pressing chicken into the sauce evenly.
Pour into prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked through.
