When the bees die in the United States, they are usually brought to California, where they are used as feed for bees in the state’s hives.
This happens to be the last of the U.S. hive population and the last in the West, as the United Kingdom’s beekeepers have been using the hive’s honey to feed their bees for decades.
The last honey bee colony in the U.”s West was in North Carolina in 1996, and the next hive is expected to be in Washington, D.C. Soon, there will be fewer honey bees than there are humans on the planet, according to the Associated Press.
The United States is the only country in the world that has no native bees.
The first hive in the Northwest hive died in 1999 and, according of the Associated with honey beekeeping, the last one will be located in Minnesota on July 6.
