Honey butter is a butter substitute that has been used for many years in cooking and baked goods, but it’s not very popular because it’s hard to make and it’s expensive.
It can be purchased in stores, but you can also buy it online.

Butter an 8-inch (20-cm) round cake pan.
Mix together vanilla, butter, sugar, eggs, baking soda, and salt.

Stir until blended.
Pour batter into the prepared pan.
Bake for 18-20 minutes, until cake springs back when tapped with a toothpick.
